From our idea of a self-sufficient, self-cleaning and vandalism-proof grill station, a project developed with a high level of innovation, the economic viability of which has been confirmed since the beginning of August 2020 by the approval of the EXIST start-up grant. After the test phase in the development laboratory at the HTWG Konstanz (University of Applied Sciences Konstanz - Technology, Business and Design), the BBQ-Butler grill station was presented to the public for the first time on October 2, 2020 at Camping Park Gitzenweiler Hof.

The BBQ-Butler team together with our pilot partner Campingpark Gitzenweiler Hof. Between Easter and Whitsun 2021, the first BBQ butler will be permanently installed on the Gitzenweiler Hof and tested by the camping guests!

Codify GmbH

Codify supports us from planning to commissioning to build a fast, robust and scalable BBQ-Butler application on the cloud. With know-how from the areas of cloud, IoT, machine learning and application development, Codify builds solutions on the cutting edge.

Ackermann Spülmaschinen GmbH

Ackermann Spülmaschinen GmbH sells and maintains hood and utensil washers for the catering industry. In the early development stage of the second generation BBQ-Butler, various test runs were carried out for the self-cleaning function at Ackermann. With its know-how in dishwashing technology, Ackermann Spülmaschinen GmbH is available to advise us on the further development of the BBQ butler.

At farm - Gründungs & Innovation everything revolves around young companies, events and networking. This is the place for everyone who is interested in the start-up scene in Konstanz, who would like to set up their own, have already done so or want to support innovation projects.

EXIST-Gründerstipendium

Since summer 2020 we have been supported by an EXIST start-up grant. The EXIST start-up grant supports students, graduates and scientists from universities and non-university research institutions who want to realize their start-up idea and implement it in a business plan. The scholarship runs for one year and, in addition to expenses for materials and coaching, also includes a regular salary for the start-up stream.
